Parashat Vayishlach: Between Exile and Return

In this teaching on Parashat Vayishlach, we follow Yaakov as he stands between exile and return—between Lavan’s slander and Esav’s approach—and discover a biblical pattern that speaks directly to the world we live in today. Drawing on the Torah, the Prophets, the words of Yeshua, the Jewish apostles, and the Chofetz Chaim, this drash explores what it means when “the faces change,” how Israel discerns shifting spiritual climates, and why the ancient spirit of Edom still stirs among the nations. It is a call to understand the times—and to cling to the G-d of Israel without fear.

If this Torah teaching has strengthened you, and your heart is stirred to bless The Light of Miryam's Well
you are welcome to give from a willing and joyful heart.
Your generosity helps keep the well flowing—
supporting the ongoing work of teaching Torah, lifting up Israel’s story,
and preparing the way for what Adonai is doing in our days.
